The Stockport Business Awards Vote John Delany Motors as the 2021 Stockport Family Business of the Year

On Thursday September 30th nearly 400 people gathered for the 2021 Stockport Business Awards. The event took place at Stockport County’s, Edgeley Park. TV presenter Jenny Powell hosted the awards that raised over £3000 on the evening for the chosen charities; Smart Works and NHS Stockport Charity.

To celebrate the success and achievements of Stockport’s award winners, the newly refurbished Edgeley Park was the perfect venue of choice for the black-tie awards dinner

Brittany Delany, John Delany Motors,  Director, commented, “We are absolutely thrilled to have won the Family Business of the Year Award. My Father, John Delany established this business in 1980 and it has grown from a one man band to Stockport’s largest independent family business. We have recently extended our premises, so we are now able to service, MOT and repair class 5 and class 7 vehicles too. Today the business employs 20 staff, which is amazing considering back in 1980 it was just my Dad and his ramp.”
