Planning a "Staycation?"
Please remember to #staysafe
This half-term the weather is looking quite nice and with many restrictions still in place for overseas travel we have pulled together some staycation destinations. A staycation is a perfect way to holiday in your own country and even in your own county. There are endless places to visit right on your doorstep here in the North West of England.
We’ve compiled some of our favourite day trips to suit all ages and abilities and we’ve even thought about the weather too, so if it does start to rain there are indoor and outdoor options, whatever the weather and budget. We checked that the indoor destinations are back open following Covid-19 closures, however with the ever-changing nature of this situation, please double-check before you go.
From the wonder of stargazing to climbing hills in the Peak District, there is something for everyone. We’ve included beaches, cycle routes, places of interest and adventure playgrounds too and nearly all of them are free. So plan your journey, pack your picnic, check your MOT is valid and away you go.
For that extra peace of mind before your trip, why not book your vehicle in for one of our Free Vehicle Health Checks.
Please remember, #staysafe.
Before planning your trip – make sure you have a valid MOT.
The recent six-month exemption to MOTs expired on the 31st July, so please remember to ensure that you have a valid MOT before you embark on a road trip. MOT’s are mandatory again from the 1st August onwards.
